Chicago....Again

We visited Chicago again this last weekend. Jon was ending another rotation and had a weekend off again, so we met half way. It was a well needed weekend for all of us I think. Thanks to our great friend Kelly for getting us tickets to go to the Shedd Aquarium. The kids loved it. Brynlee's favorite was the "zebra fish" black and white striped fish. Noah loved the turtles. This is the Buckingham fountain in Grant park.

This could possibly be the best pizza I have ever had. It is sooooooo good! It is definitely Chicago style. (deep dish) Just to give you an idea, I couldn't even eat one piece, it is so rich! Noah however ate a whole piece all by himself. He loved it!

Shedd aquarium
Noah loved the see through floor. There were sting rays swimming under neath.

In front of the shark tank, even though you can't tell.

They had a little play area where the kids could dress up like penguins and they had rocks and slides for them to play on.

Giant Lobster/crab thing. Brynlee was terrified of it.

Noah thought the octopus was so cool.

We also went to the Fantasea show. It was pretty cool. I loved the dolphins.

We had a fun weekend, but it was too short. We can't wait for Jon to be able to come home for good in October.
