Home Sweet Home

July is here already! Wow Where did June go? We are now in Columbus, and are getting settled in. After Graduation weekend, we moved to Columbus on June 1st, and closed on our house. It was a foreclosure so it needed some work. All new paint, carpet, some plumbing, electric, and various other things. Jon worked really hard to get as much done as he could before he left on the 9th for his trip to Alaska. He has so much fun, and even though I give him a hard time about leaving me with a new baby, in a new place, with all the moving in to be done, I'm glad he got to go and have some fun. He deserves it.

My mom came to help me while Jon was gone. What a blessing that was. We had so much fun with her, and I was so thankful for the all the help.

In our new town, they put on an activity for the kids to come and sit on all the public vehicles, and honk the horns. Brynlee was so excited to get on a real bus. Noah was most excited for the motorcycle cop!

My favorite thing about our new house is the master suite. It has a huge bathroom, jetted tub, and a HUGE closet that fits all my clothes for all seasons at the same time.

It also has a nice spacious kitchen.

And here are some other pics of the new house. We love it, and especially love having a fenced yard for the kids.

We sure miss all of our friends in Des Moines. There were so many people there who influenced our lives in great ways. We will miss you all!

We are excited to start our new adventure in Columbus, and we know without a doubt, this is where we are supposed to be right now in our lives.

Wow! It sure has been busy for you guys- you must have been able to sell your home- that is great. I'm glad you are all settled in and doing good. How fun for Jon to go to Alaska- I'm sure he needed some fishing therapy!

I love your house, you have such a knack for decorating! I'm thinking we'll have to stop in on our way through next summer!

Love the new home. Good luck getting settled. We've been in Utah for a little over 2 months and I still feel like I don't really have any friends. However, I have family close by which makes up for the void. I hope that you guys have a good experience there.
