36 to go....

So Jon and I always said that when he finished Medical School, I could go back and finish my degree. So, A month ago I finally decided to start the process. Actually Jon reminded me of our deal. I have been so hesitant to do this because sometimes I feel like a single parent because of Jon's schedule, and I just didn't see how it would work. After much prayer, and contemplation I thought I would at least look into it. I found that I already had an associates degree, and just needed to apply for the degree, and that I only needed 36 credits to get my bachelors.

To make a very long story short, they got me admitted for this semester because I wanted to take all online classes and the online business degree was being changed. I guess only the currently enrolled students have the option to graduate with this degree. So in a matter of days I went from thinking about going back, to being enrolled in 6 credits of business classes. Yikes!

Since the semester was three weeks in, I have a lot of catching up to do. If I continue at this pace (the I'm a mommy of three kids, and my husband's never around pace) I will finish in two or three years.

I'm excited, but realizing that I'm probably crazy!!

You'll never regret it. I've thought often of what I would do if something were to happen to Marshall. Going back to school not only gives you more education which is always great, but makes you more marketable in the event that you ever do need to get a job. Just take it a day at a time, it takes a lot to have kids and go to school at the same time.
